USCIS is very clever about the fee waiver. One of my friends got the same kind of denial as I got (trust me we compared the notes) on the same day from NSC. When he filed for the MTR, USCIS reopened his case but with an RFE on his case. He had to send some medical reports, birth certificates and some other documents. In that way USCIS is getting away with wrongful denied cases without refunding any fee back. I have donated $2500 to USCIS for my two MTRs (forget about emotional drain which is incomprehensible and unrefundable). I do not think USCIS will ever give me that money back after it finds there is error in my case. it will definitely come up with some kind of RFE. It is very easy for them......
For that only I am telling we need to teach a lesson. Take them once to court, and if we can get the judement once in our favour it will nail the coffin. If we lose, some one else try again in different court.

I am also planning to start a Nursing Registry, LLC once I get my EAD. However, I don't have much capitalization.
How much do you think is the minimum amount of money to get a business running with just one person - me - as owner/employee?
I've done a little research and got some info. like:

State Tax: US$800

Thanks sy. I fully agree it's the agent we deal with. My BOA loan coordinator is extremely stubborn & doesn't have any clue regarding immigration. From day 1 she is stuck on unexpired I-94 & till today she asks me to furnish that. Like many immigrants, I moved to USA in search of American Dream. Like many others I came to USA on H1-B and wanted to convert to a permanent resident. The process, which used to take 2-3 years, has turned to uncertainty. The path for Permanent residency has been entangled in complicated government laws and bureaucracy. I had to wait in line for 4 years just to get my labor application approved and now I am struck in another queue of retrogression. I moved from my country; because I did not want to wait in line at Ration shops, bus stops. I wanted to escape from the lines, but now I am struck in a bigger line with no end in sight.
Whenever there is a discussion about immigration, People always assume it as about illegal immigration. So I have to keep reminding people that there is another side to immigration. Legal immigration. The issues of legal immigrants have been ignored and been buried in the midst of illegal immigration controversies. When I send letters to House Representatives/Senators about the problems of legal immigrants, they reply back about increasing H1-B numbers. Legal immigration is NOT just about just increasing H1-B. Also the anti immigration groups publish that people on H1-B don�t pay taxes. But we pay taxes, Medicare and social security like all other American citizens. With the current immigration laws, we might not be even to avail the benefits of these taxes.
The facts of the legal immigrants
� We are NOT here to take American jobs. We fill those positions when a suitable American citizen was not found
� We PAY TAXES like any other American citizens
� We are here legally. The government has assessed our qualifications and education.
� According to Economic Report of the President, 2006 - Legal skilled immigrants increase productivity growth and improve the standard of living for the U.S. population as a whole.
� According to Economic Report of the President, 2006, skilled immigrants constituted 76% of the employment growth in the Executive, Managerial, Professional (e.g., Scientists, Doctors) and Technical (e.g., Health and Science Technicians) categories from 1996 to 2002.
� According to Annalee Saxenian, �Silicon Valley's New Immigrant Entrepreneurs,� Public Policy Institute of California, 1999, in 1998, Chinese or Indian CEOs ran 24 percent of Silicon Valley�s technology firms. If a party wins a case, the court may order a losing party to compensate all expenses associated with the suit. The relevant law is "Equal Access to Justice Act" (EAJA). However, if government changes position and reverses the denial/acts on an application/MTR before court rules in your favor, it's not possible to recover court-related expenses. Court filing fee in federal civil cases is $350 so the bulk of all expenses is usually attorney's fees.

Why do you think this is misleading? If you look at the date of the post, then the monday should be the following monday from that date which passed long time back. Let me know exacly what misled you, i may try to re-interpret if need be.
It is upto you to conclude who is right and who is wrong and nobody here is warning him because he is junior.
I have politely warned him, because i thought it was the right thing to do because of this discussion going in the wrong direction. I complained the adminstrator and moderator becuase that was the only tool available to me. Whatz wrong in this approach?

I just logged in thinking that by Monday, we July 2nd filers wud be getting receipts. But after flipping the pages back on this forum, I saw that the Monday was indeed the previous one. This is indeed misleading. After seeing the ongoing tussle between buddyinus and Srikondo, I realised Buddyinus is right. Whats wrong in whatever he's saying??? The purpose of this thread is to discuss about the so called Monday's receipts. But since that Monday is gone, looks like u r fighting over nothing. How dare u warn anybody on this thread. I am with Buddyinus on this. He may be a junior but u dont have any rights to warn him. Beware.
