is it possible to send an email, probably daily once to all members about High Five ?
I feel that most of the members are not aware at this time. Usually when ever something is happening live at senate or congress, more members visit and follow the proceedings. Since there is nothing like that right now, i think it's time to communicate to all of'em.
Just a thought to increase the momentum. This is a great initiative indeed in this tough economy
By the way, i've mailed another check of $50 today morning, towards yesterday's target of $2000

I have expected EB2 India would move Fast but I didnt expect it would move like Super Fast. Really good for EB2. But the thing infront of us now is to work for EB3 INDIA and EB3 ROW.

Please continue to post your comments on the letter - the sooner we can all agree upon the content, the sooner we can start sending these out.

Its not a rumor. This is real. Coming to think abt it, he had filed a labor in 2000/2001 time period and had abandoned it when he switched companies. I am wondering if USCIS takes the oldest one an applicant had ever filed.

I personally think backwards running clock is the best thing to send...It hits nail on the head...The PDs are moving backward instead of forward...It is also a funny story for news media to pick up...Mass letters are also ok...
Regarding the fliers suggested by someone, I feel that calling them lazy would not help (Even though I agree that they do deserve to some extent). But on the otherhand they might take offense to that, since the IOs can say that at times, they work weekends and that they just follow what they are directed to do by the higherups...

I have talked to a representative and he very patiently explained me about the mess.
He clearly and very clearly told me that they have a deadline to send all receipts for June end and July 2nd filers by friday (tomorrow) or worst case monday.
He mentioned that they are working hard to meet this deadline.
Hope this clears the anxiety.

I think there are many ways to look at it. Doing Free service , yes it is a form of Gandhigiri, but will that cause the lawmakers to recognize us and pass laws in favor o fus..I do not think so.
I think our situation is no different than people in South Africa in Gandhian times. How Gandhi fought for them is by writing and writing and pestering the Authorities to reduce unfair taxes on Indians in SA and to solve other problems they had like cannot ride in the same Trains/cars as Whites etc...., fighting for their rights in a Vocal but Non Voilent - non aggressive approach.
We, in this post , have equated Gandhigiri with - divide ur attention - Go Do MBA- be occupied with something else while u are retrogressed, furthur ur career/skills,,,etc I do not think that is what Gandhigiri is about i.e. doing something for the self, but instead do it for the community. In this case IV is our community and its leaders are doing the right thing for our cause and if we continue to support that by adding members, funds we will do a fair bit of gandhigiri towards our cause.

During the last few days there has been some movement on the National Defense Authorization Act and work on DREAM and SKIL provisions.
